• Price: $7.50 per month
• Refund Period: Full refund within 30 days of initial purchase
• Renewals: Full refund within 30 days of any renewal charge

Pro Annual Subscription

• Price: $30 per year
• Refund Period: Full refund within 30 days of initial purchase
• Renewals: Full refund within 30 days of any renewal charge

How to Request a Refund

Option 1: Email Support (Fastest)

Email us at support@ludicrousread.com with:

• Your email address used for purchase
• License key (if available)
• Reason for refund (optional but helpful)

We typically process refunds within 1-2 business days.

Option 2: FastSpring Account

Log in to your FastSpring account at fastspring.com and request a refund directly through their system.

Refund Processing

Timeline

• Approval: Within 1-2 business days of request
• Processing: 3-5 business days for funds to appear
• Credit cards: Typically 5-7 business days total
• PayPal: Usually 3-5 business days total

Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase. We cannot refund to a different card or account.

What Happens After Refund

• Your Pro license key will be deactivated
• Pro features will no longer be accessible
• You can continue using the free version
• Your settings and preferences are preserved

Situations NOT Covered

Refunds are generally not provided for:

• Requests made more than 30 days after purchase
• Violation of our Terms of Service (license sharing, fraudulent use)
• Third-party payment processing fees
• Currency conversion or bank fees

Exception: We may make exceptions on a case-by-case basis for exceptional circumstances. Contact us to discuss.

Subscription Cancellation

Important: Cancelling your subscription is different from requesting a refund.

Cancellation vs Refund

• Cancellation: Stops future charges, but you keep access until the end of the current billing period. No refund for current period.
• Refund: Returns your money, access ends immediately.

How to Cancel

You can cancel anytime through:

• Your FastSpring account
• Email to support@ludicrousread.com

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You'll retain Pro access until then.

Partial Refunds

Annual Subscriptions: If you purchased an annual subscription and request a refund after 30 days, we do not offer partial refunds for unused months.

Exception: If we discontinue the service or make significant changes that affect core functionality, we may offer prorated refunds. Contact us to discuss.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

• We'll retry the charge 2-3 times over 7 days
• You'll receive email notifications
• Pro access remains active during retry period
• If payment continues to fail, Pro access ends
• No refund is issued for failed payments (no charge occurred)

Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback. We're happy to resolve any issues or process refunds quickly.

If you file a chargeback:

• Your license will be immediately revoked
• We may be unable to provide future service
• You may be liable for chargeback fees
